If u have oil in the preserving bin, take it out in order to stop crafting jerky.
Make sure no sparkpowder/gunpowder/charcoal is in the pot when trying to make something that requires berries.
You don't use _wood_ as fuel. It turns into charcoal, and the's why the dyes start popping out. You look up the specific ingredients for each recipe and make sure nothing else is left in the pot/cooker.
There are a lot of overlaps, and sometimes that's convenient. I'll make stamina AND healing brews simultaneously. There's one key ingredient I need to put twice as much of in. And with planning, you can multiple levels of kibble simultaneously. It's a _feature_ not a bug.
