clipping
Are you developers ever going to fix the clipping of animals through structures? You are losing customers because of this. I know of several people who have NOT purchased this game because I have told them about the clipping. I quit playing the game a long time ago because of the clipping. I know you do not care about that because I already bought the game. But you should because I might have purchased DLC.
Anyway, your refusal to fix the worst bug in the game, along with many other bugs that have been there from the start, means I will continue to give extremely negative reviews of your game to anyone who asks.
You OWE the people who bought your game to fix the many bugs.

Clipping is mainly just an engine issue. Nothing that they can do. People aren't going to quit over it. If it was that big of an issue, the game would be dead already

The "primitive" dlc is free.

People do quit because of the clipping. I did. If you read the forums and reviews, you will know I am not the only one. My wife thinks about playing now and again, but then she remembers the clipping and does not play. Whether or not it is an engine issue is irrelevant. If they can fix it, they should fix it; two years ago. If they cannot, they should mention the clipping in the store game description and also include some video of it on the store page. But of course they will not as that would definitely turn away some buyers.
I thought I paid $1.99 for the primitive dlc, but I will take Shiro's word for it. I know it is free now, so I have amended my original post. Strangely enough, ARK is the only game I have been able to entirely delete from my library. That is one plus for ARK.

Ok, where are all of these people you're representing then?

Lots of people turn off structure collision.

I am not sure the point of this. After rereading my post, I think you thought I meant I did not like the structure collision in the game. If so, then I must say I do not care one way or the other. I play with it on. I will edit my original post to make clear what I mean.

Where are they? What do you mean? There are negative reviews and posts that mention this issue and some of them include the fact that the person is quitting in large part because of it. I found a few during the few minutes I was trying to learn whether or not the clipping has been fixed. They are easy to find if you look.

People aren't leaving in masses because of clipping. I've check the recent reviews for the past month or so. None If you'd like me to believe you are right, I'd recommend you actually posting links to them since you found them so easily. People have left negative reviews, but clipping isn't the reasoning. In fact, we actually had a surge of players coming back since extinction was announced

I never said in masses. Do your own work. I found what I wrote about easily. I was researching for my wife to find out whether clipping had been fixed. I was not looking to see whether or not people were quitting. I found that out as part of my search results. All I wrote was that they were losing customers. "Customers" could actually mean as little as 2. I know that it is more than 2, but of course I have no idea what the exact amount is.
Why do you keep worrying about this anyway? According to you, clipping is just part of the game. You should be more worried about the fact that the store page mentions nothing about an aspect of the game that has led me and my wife to quit playing the game.

You're making a big deal out of it. Yeah it's annoying that we see Rex heads clipping out of walls and such. If 2 people quit, there's several more that replaces them. This isn't a big deal.
KitsuneShiro Jun 26, 2018 @ 4:14pm
People usually just learn to deal with it. Either learn to play or move on.

The burden of proof is on you.

iam sorry but if you quit over this you would ♥♥♥♥♥ about anything -.- honestly get over it or your a pvper play pve then not a big deal
amox Nov 13, 2018 @ 1:22pm
This. The devs have to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dillusional. The least they could do is make it so you can't damage dinos that are clipped through. There are so many problems with the game that have been here since DAY 1. Too bad everyone in this thread is too naive and dumb to realise that critique leads to a better product. They don't want their feelings hurt when you call out the flawed logic.
