Speaker w/countdown timer?

I guess its something new, but when I get on a parasaur every once in a while I see what looks like a speaker icon with a slash through the middle that has a countdown timer on it (usually around 80 seconds) Can anyone shed some light on what it is? I figured out the sonar ping and the crouch key I guess is something that is supposed to scare small animals (I guess?).

It scares always dinos.

OK.. its the countdown timer on the ability.. thats what I oculdnt figure out
