OverrideOfficialDifficulty keeps resetting

I stop the server.
Edit the gameusersettings.ini.
make the following changes:
OverrideOfficialDifficulty=8.0
DifficultyOffset-1.0

And when i start the server, the OverrideOfficialDifficulty resets to 1.0

Anyone else having this issue?

Is it entered exactly as above and is it in your gameusersettings.ini and Not the game.ini

Yes, gameusersettings.ini
Yes, entered exactly (verified visually and would not have its value changed if it was spelled wrong)

I think I may have figured it out. There is an override parameter in the commandline manager. Trying that to see if it works.

Yep - some hosts have the option in the commandline... if it doesnt match your .ini it will overwrite it.

Yup. That was it. I don't recall having to do that in the past. The hosting provider did make some changes to the server admin console, so likely they changed it while I was on hiatus.

I was with same problem, always restart to 1... check command line and BINGO !! there´s another slider to override... change to 5 :D

Im hosting my own nitrado server and im having the same issue, I change my DifficultyOffset to 1.0 and my OverrideOfficialDifficulty to 10.0 and it keeps resetting to 5.0 . So how do I fix this so it doesnt reset?
Edit: Also I am in gameusersettings.ini and it is under server settings
