ark crashes with "unreal engine exiting due to d3d device being lost"

Got this error several times, after 10/15 min in game, game crash in all maps, whats happening WC? i see so MANY posts about this and no fix for that???

Been getting the same error for weeks now talked to Survival servers who host my server and they say its a game issue.
I have Un installed every file i can find for this game reinstalled it several times. validated the files also no good there. This is a nitemare what can you do to help me. Please im getting Desperate. i also cant access any crystals or the oblisk it boots me every time. This is on any and all servers im on. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.

Based on the Unreal Engine 4 patch notes. That bug is with the game engine and has been fixed in a patch, but since Ark uses its only special version of the Unreal Engine, it might take them a while to get a custom patch for their version of the engine.

Not sure if this works. from patch notes: Players who are getting D3D Device Lost Error should try running with "-norhithread" in launch arguments

D3d is a known dx issue. Try updating ur dx10.

since its an error with directx you can try reinstalling the required dx libs found here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe

also update the graphics drivers (or even roll them back if new already)

does anyone know if installing DX Setup fix the problem or no?

Use this. I had the same problem, tried all the other "fixes", but this was the one that actually worked for me.

Ok then so a couple peeps have given suggestions. Give it a shot. Also try and run the dx10 command in ur game launch arguments. Of xourse ull prolly atill have to update ur dx10.
