As I said its a non issue for unofficial servers. Lamenting that the design intent to not have something such as that on official server's maps because the maps thematically have specific assets is rather silly. That doesnt make it a torch waving reason to bemoan that you cant get it in the basic sense of the game.

Until you and other realize that your wants can be accomodated by playing where customization is intented to be played and that officials are just showcase servers only, you're just going to being inanely going round and round in this circle.

You paid money for the game thats right, but if you wish to only restrict yourself to a fraction of what the game has to offer, well, that's on you isnt it.

To make tents for portable taming cages or for whips. Only two things that need silk I could see someone wanting unless I'm forgetting something.

Doesn't really matter honestly. It's not going to get added officially because it's simply not supposed to be there.

Why? No crafting recipes found on Aberration require silk. I don't see the point.
