After most recent update, the Center map won't start up

The game starts up fine and runs, I can still load the Island map. If I choose the Center (single player) the application closes itself, reopens and loads the main menu. I have no mods or other cahnges to the game.

After the update the game repeatedly asked me to download Battle Eye, clicking cancel would cause the application to reopen itself and load the main menu. When I did install Battle Eye, it would reopen the application and load the main menu when I would try to load the Center map, without showing the Battle Eye installer.

I'm having the same issue where the center in single player will not load. The game simply shuts down with no error message then re-opens at the main menu. Have you resolved this?

I had Battle Eye already installed so not had any problems with that but I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it fixed the issue but that hasn't worked.

Could you browse to the following folder and delete this file:

/ShooterGame/SeekFreeContent/Mods/TheCenter/TheCenter_Landscape.umap

Afterwards, verify your steam game and let me know how that works out.

Should I apply this to the isle as well? I just want to play single player. Please fix this!!!

That file is the Center, so it probably will not help with the island.

Jatheish, thanks for your assistance.

I removed the file and verified the integrity of the local game files which strangely reaquired 2 game files instead of just the one I moved. I then started the game as usual and encountered the same problem sadly.

Is there anything else I could try?

It would be this file:

/ShooterGame/SeekFreeContent/Mods/TheCenter/TheCenter_WaterfallBackground.umap

Something you may want to try is backing up that center folder, deleting it, and then running verification on your files and see if that fully restores it. There's some corruption goes on there. Alternatively, could reinstall the Center DLC but would need to make sure the previous versions have been completely removed.

I have removed the center then used verify integrity to download a fresh copy and all seems to work fine now.
