Inescapable Aberration death pit?
Really enjoy this game, that should be obvious by my 2,500 hour playtime, but today I fell victim to a completely inexcusable flaw in map design of Aberration. There is an inescapable pit filled with deep radiation water at 75x80, near element falls where the reaper queens spawn.

I have kept my distance since discovering said pit - however, while searching for high level queens I was tail swiped into the water and was forced to watch as my reaper slowly died; completely unable to do anything about it. I left render range in the hopes that It would stop taking damage and thus far there has been no death message (not that it means much, It most likely is long dead.) I am all for challenges, but to be subjected to something that has no solution - aside from building a ramp down into the water, which we tried, you cannot place structures in that location - is completely and utterly infuriating and unacceptable.

I have submitted a help ticket with the hope that my reaper which I spent weeks raising and leveling can be saved, but for the time being I am writing this rant in order to bring attention to an otherwise obnoxious design flaw that should be remedied immediately. Thank you.

It's a map hazard. Learn them and avoid them, rather than cry for a fix.

I would love the devs to just put a sign at the bottom of it or a few grave stones there!
Every map has stuff like that. Lost all kinds of stuff due to random, inescapable holes on almost every map. It sucks, and they really shouldn't be there, but they're not going anywhere soon, so just learn to avoid them.

Submit a report (if on official) and warn others. Not much else you can do, but adapt.

Is it just an Element lake with cliff surrounding it, so you can't escape it? If so, it's a map hazard, be more careful. If it's just a map glitch, then you have more ground to stand on.

The entire map is filled with design flaws. Its a pretty map and nothing more than that.

I dont think its possible add more flaws to a single map.

Go to point A to point B is annoying because a lot of places there is like only 1 way to go then you need to do a huge detour because the map is poorly designed.

I hope the next dlc they ask Rag dev that is now wc employee to do it. He's clearly better than all wc map designers.

Isnt it supposed to be hard to survive? I mostly enjoy the game when I actually fear loosing stuff.....If we didnt have fear, then the game would be super boring really fast.

Is there a big skeleton at the bottom?. Turns from blue to purple and the gold?

Heck,

The Island map still has "death pits" just deep enough to get trapped in with no way to climb out that haven;t been fixed yet. easy to find them by seeing 3-4 random dinos stuck in them over time.

Good luck on your ticket, but doubtful if you will get your dino back since its part of the hazards of the environment.

Meanwhile, can you put a foundation in it so you can block it off yourself?

Or add dino gates around it.

Why don't you keep your unproductive, annoying comments to yourself Angelo. You're just as bad if not worse than that pit.
