Ark abberation blue forest
Hi all, I've been playing abberation recently on single player and i have got to the point where i need lots of metal and cementing paste in order to get better stuff. I dont have a hazmat suit yet so i cant go down to the rock drake areas. The only place that seems to be a good area to get metal is the blue forest area. The problem there however is that it is full of basilisks, rock drakes etc, and i also need a frog to get cementing paste

So i was wondering, do you reckon that i would be able to get through the blue forest area. So far i have a pack of 5 ravagers ranging from level 71-94, a carno and a sarco. Would that be enough to get through the blue forest and get some metal and a frog or do you reckon that i would need stronger mounts.

There's a lot of big stuff in the whater down there. The metal is usually pretty easy to get to. There's a spot in the top left where you can get a bunch of materials that are very useful, and nameless don't spawn there. However getting there is a but of a pain normally. You could build wall platforms and zip lines to it from the wall tho. The cave platform ia high up ij the blue zone with meta,l crystal, 11 gas nodes, obsidian, and loads of blue gems.

It hugs the left wall high up, when you look into the blue zone from that water fall entrance.

Its quite far away from my base but it shouldn't be too much of a problem

forget the frog and get a spino. You wont have one care in the world about cementing paste since a spino will carve up any Karakinos. The chitin(and organic polymer) you get from them, which you then grind into paste, will supply any need you will have.

Ok, thanks for advice, i will have a look at getting a spino as i am near the river where they spawn. Also i am on single player due to terrible wifi connection. Thanks for tribe invite tho

Spinos cant be picked up by a crab, thats why they are so devastating against them
