Untamed dinos should have kids
I think randomly mate boosted dinos should give birth to a baby version of the dino and they protect it until it grows up this way you could find families

Wild babies would be fun. You should check out the zoology mod.

Maybe when Play as Dino becomes official with the new dev in town this will be part of the strategy for longer term dino experience.

That's just wrong. Think of the animations.

This mod naturally spawns baby dino's which is kinda close to what you want

I'd like the idea to have wild baby dinos getting protected by their real parents and/or pack/horde.
It would add a little bit more realism.

Sad to say it that most likely may never happen friend,
Since op dinos for instance, gigas could have babies. bang bang bang
You can steal the egg once the female lays it and then become the most op player. Gg :steamfacepalm:

I mean that'd be useful, but you'd still have to have the means to keep the at the right temperature. And most trubes that can do that can probably just tranq one down anyway.

they could do it easy enough.

its the backlash of angry players saying that the babies are too OP, or the parents being too agressive, or any other myriad of things to complain about.

I think more powerful dinos will very very rarely lay/give birth to babies

Ok now you convinced me that would make sence for a giga to have like a 3% chance to lay an egg,

add Dino Nests Continued to it. I recomend to look into ini stuff to not to have a over spawn of eggs or Babys. It's quite fun and good for SP to get the zoo complete, yes giga eggs^^

I remember they said they planned on adding them just after they added penguins, which are the only animal in the game to have younglings running around. We all see how that went.

Never ever trust Studio Wildcards promises on planned features.
We got told that a lot of times.
