But even without RP, prim servers can be super creative when it comes to rules about survival to make it as challenging and fun as possible.
That seems a bit silly. Even at stone tier you can solo 1 rex with a bow and arrow and some stone dino gates or stacked stone pillars.
I disagree with this sentiment in most games. Flying is fun, as is land travel. Ark is wonderful in that it provides you the option to do both, and both are appealing for different reasons.
I'm not saying that people who restrict flyers on their servers are wrong for doing so, but I will definitely argue against people saying that flying is a bad feature for the game to have, or is only a good idea in theory.
It is also impractical or not feesible to be land based only on some maps of the game, as the map makers intend for flying to be necessary.
