Official server PVE timers

Once Upon a Time in the old days of Ark there used to be a thing where if you didn't log on for 8 days your dinos would enter an unclaimed state but would not be deleted.

is this still the case? tried to merge with another tribe and joined on accident and lost my dinos however the eight days has gone by in about 3 hours I don't know if they're going to be dead or if I just need to claim them.

You can claim them, iirc they only disappear at server restart. Could be wrong though.

Thank heavens. We filed a ticket and they only answered today and said that they couldn't set up an appointment for another week or so period after waiting 8 days. Not amused but if that's a thing I'm just going to sit tight for the next two to three hours while and wait for this thing to unclaimed. Thankfully it's a Drake with 12,000 food stat from hatching so I don't have to worry about starvation

dinos with expired decay timers are unfortunately (in your case) un-claimable. they will decay upon rendering, similar to structures iirc. i would be very interested to hear if this is not the case though, maybe with a screen shot or two?

Last time I was on official claiming dinos after the change, they were claimable just like before. Was there another change to make them unclaimable? I know the initial change just made them disappear after the timer expired, but it only worked when the server was restarted.

Well we're about to find out we got about a half hour. I've been standing next to this thing for the last 4 hours since customer support said that they were going to be on 2 hours ago. It'd be nice if they kept their word

And the results are in, the damn thing just went POOF like it was uploaded to an obelisk. Left a bag behind atleast.so our last hope of claiming dino's was broken, Support said they'd help, they never did, just silence, the fix on the forumn FAQ didn't work, and they're blaming US for the glitch and so they wont help. How can you stop a tribe merge, server rollback glitch that makes everyone tribeless? How do you possibly prepare for that, and furthermore, how do you NOT be at fault for that in their eyes? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. No incentive to help their customers, they already got all of our money so they have nothing to loose.

Sorry to hear that, but yeah I agree, Wc sucks raptor balls.
