Trying to Place Auto-Turrets on Plesio Platform Saddle

What I'm trying to do is to place a heavy auto turret on the ceiling of a 2x3x1 building on top of a plesio platform saddle. But I just can't, it says something like "Can't place turret on platform" or something.

I know there are already several discussions about this "turret on platform" thing. I have tried to do whatever they said like entering "?OverrideStructurePlatformPrevention=True" to the command line and adding "OverrideStructurePlatformPrevention=True" to the GameUserSettings.ini. But whatever I did, it just wont work. I'm playing on The Island in Single Player mode btw.

I started this discussion because I'm so frustrated right now. I have spent many hours googling, retrying, and restarting the game over and over again but with no result at all. I want to know, is it actually still possible to place turret on platform saddle? How? Or has it been disabled completely? Because as far as I "googled", there's no source telling it's been completely disabled.

Please anyone help me! Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I haven't tried for "small" auto turret. Maybe it's disabled only for heavy auto turret because it'd be too OP? But afaik there's no source confirming this.

Is correct .. do you have it in the right gui?

There's also a checkbox for it in options, you don't have to go into the .ini at all for singleplayer

I knew it exists. That's the first thing I do before bothering with the .ini file. But it just didn't work. IIrc, "Allow flyer pickup PvE" checkbox doesn't work as well, it's always set back to "False" no matter what (except if I manually change it in the .ini file. :/

no-one on my servers have said one way or the other about heavy turrets im afraid.

Okay I finally tested for 'normal' turret and it works. Guess only the heavy one isn't allowed, kinda make sense. Thank you for the helps guys.
