The Center, Base locations with water pen nearby?

Going to start up on The Center with two other friends to form a trio of survivors. We're looking for a location that would accomedate a medium sized tribe, and have a spot for water tames, but pretty much all the good spots on The Center seem to not have a water tame area that is in reasonable proximity to the base area. Or maybe I haven't explored it enough.

Anyone have any keen spots? Kind of looking for a spot that is somewhat out of the way, but not so far that it's a pain in the butt to get to resorces.

you using teleporters? if so then along the center river is a square hole that leads down to a huge cavern. nothing to big in the water down there only issue is getting things out without a Tp

its hard to make a base with water área connected, the best base location for pvp in my opinion in the center is the end of the map on redwood ares, on the clif, have a water spot, but not for dinos.

Build a big raft or two. Foundations and walls on the raft. Don't go in too much open water or leedsycthis will wreck you. A base is nice, but I find that resources are kinda scarce in the good areas, so why restrict yourself too one.

The upper island in the east has a natural bay thats easy to close off and is not too far from volcano island. Its on the side of the map though, and far from redwood or snow/mountain area.

Another good spot is in the bay around 56/48. Some nice ruins to build in ( carefull on pvp, those ruins give 3x damage to structures to counter the advantage they offer ) and a bit more in the middle of the map.

You can also go the middle river around 48/56 where the river makes the natural U, there is a cave where you can dive in that also has land access at the same spot and again, ruins to build in. Oil, pearls and cave drops nearby but a long way to the ocean.

Unfortunatly, there is no perfect spot. I prefer spot nr 3 bcs of the good ressources.
