Torpidity drain - what controls it?

After a recent server patch, I've been experiencing some issues with my my private dedicated server, one of them being torpidity drain being extremely slow, and especially on larger dinos, to a point where I don't need to use a single narc on for instance a rex or megalodon thats above level 100, which is obviously a problem and needs to be fixed.

Anyone know what controls the torpidity drain?

Different dino species have different rates of torpor drain. Its an internal thing coded into each species and part of the mini game of taming. If you increase the taming speed on a server/single player then it of course progress faster than some/many dinos can drain their torpor.

Additionally there are mods that also may have a chance to change the taming and torpor issues too.

Well... The taming speed is actually increased on my server, so would that affect the torpidity to drain be slower, not that it would make sense if so?

AFAIK that doesnt influence torpor drain.

But its normal to not need any narcs for Rexes at taming x5 and higher, Rexes lose torpor quite slow.

You could use DodoDex or a similar App to check if your server is bugged though. Just download it, put your settings in, select a dino and it shows you how long it should take to drain the torpor and how much narcs you need.
