Megalosaurus on the island?
I need some eggs for kibble for therezinus. So I'd like to tame a couple male/female. From spawn map looks like they only spawn in artifact caves. I have been in all of them, I never found any. Plus, I don't think I can get them out of them, right? How to get kibble for a good therezino then?

Hello, how are you? I also find it hard to find, but I saw this video. I hope it helps you.
The minute location: 11:52
You could use raw mutton, if you have to. It will tame a 150 to 222. That's only a loss of two levels, and it's a heck of a lot easier to get your hands on.
you can add megalosaurus spawn outside of caves...can megalosaurus fit entrance at all ? I know Bary can fit just but not sure for megalo ?

Thta is the central cave. Is this video recent? Isn't this an old design? Anyway, I have been there plenty of times, never found a single megalosaurus.

Hey buddy, i know how to solve this. The lizard often gets stuck in cave walls. I solved this by eating rare flower, which aggros all dinos.

Therezinosaurus is herbivore. They do not eat mutton. Mejoberry is the second best, that is pretty bad compared to kibble

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this in the central cave, no megalosaur. Indeed I checked with the ghost command (which I could not use online) that there was none. I will try another cave and let you know if it works then, it probably will, I read this also in other websites...
They live on cave walls and ceilings, i find at least 2 of them when i go in the cave on carno island, just go in on a thyla or dino of your choice and eat a rare flower, they will all fall down from the ceiling to the bottom of the cave.
Or clear the cave first and then eat the flower, so you dont have trouble while taming them.
Also take some large poop with you to tame some beetles till the megalos are done. :)
I know they spawn in the lava cave but I havent been in there since they redid the caves so idk if they redid that one.
@giorgiobusoni

I was about to suggest you to use Larkator, but I guess you are the Giorgino87 who posted in Larkator's thread ? https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/296791-tool-larkator-standalone-dino-locator/

I can confirm you that, in my case, Larkator shows me all the dinos, even ones in caves. I can see that there is currently a Megalosaurus in my game, in the South East lava cave.

For people who don't know what Larkator is, it's an awesome open source tool which shows dinos locations (wild and tamed) on the map, outside the game.

I checked most caves using ghost, no megalosaurus. Indeed, I first tried eatiung tons of rare flowers without success, so as I wondered if I was doing it wrong or if there was no megalosaurus at all, I tried to ghost. None.

Yes, that's me. And I tried, but I don't even get an entry for "megalosaurus" when i load my save. DUnno if it is because it is supposed to be missing in larkator, if it is because something is going wrong in larkator or if it is because they are completely absent in my map...

Oh yes you are right. I didn't get it. Yes, megalanias yes, a lot. Is the first dino I met once I started exploring caves :D and if I use the ghost command I can always see at least one in each cave...
