Honestly, at that kind of levels you are better off with a trike. Trikes can toss it back so you don't really get hit, especially if you do it on a slope. Either way, level that spino or a trike a bit more before you try it, the health in particular won't last long.

Any tips for quick leveling? The Raptor has been getting far too close to my base.

Pretty sure the Spinos knockback is enough to keep an Alpha Raptor at bay without even needing to tank it. That combined with their TLC changes and the new water buff, I don't see why your spino can't win that fight. If you're super worried, just fight it near water so you can make a quick escape if neccessary.

Hard to say, but if you want to experiment for fun, just make a copy of the save folder. It's not a bad idea to back up now and then anyway. I hate all the buggy glitches, so everyitime I die to something I think is BS i just reload and start over. Does it feel like cheating a little? yeah lol it does, but atleast it helps my butt heal

Can also trap the raptor by making a 1x1 building out of atleast stone... and a ramp, like shoot it with a slingshot or something then have it chase you up the ramp and into the building. if you have a door you should be able to sneak out the back, or just go naked and let it kill you.

I think alphas can actually destroy stone, but it will take it long enough to give you a chance to test the spino out.

Another option is to use a flyer or raft and just lure it away from your base.

Metal walls should be alpha proof, but if they call on the ark god of glitches, nothing will save you or your dinos

oh for flier, you don't need to let it bite you, just land in its aggro range, and hung the ground until it gets bored and stops chasing, you can always peck at the thing to get it's attention again.

For raft luring, bring a bow and shoot it every time it loses interest. Without a bow this method would not likely be worth the trouble.

Drop a dodo by it and it cant eat the body so it will be stuck trying to eat the body till its dead or till the dodo body goes it can be done with all alphas on land (rex,carno and raptor)
