There is no command to respawn the resoutrces directly.
However, there are commands to control the time before resources repawn.

On a server, the command is... ResourceRespawnPeriodMultiplier
the default is 1.0
higher numbers take longer, numbers less than 1.0 take less time.
This setting goes in the SERVERS GameUserSettings.ini file.. (Note, THE SERVERS, not yours)

In a Single Player game,,, got to the "Big A" opening screen when you launch Ark.
Select Host/Local as you normally would.
Then, before clicking Single Player at the bottom of the middle column to launch the game, go to the first column and select "Advanced" at the top. About half way down look for "Resoure Respawn Period" slider. Set it as above.... bigger number to lengthen the time... small numbers to shorten the time.

Note that this only changes the timing before the resources respawn.. if you set it to zero or some very low number and turn your back, resources will spawn on top of your dinos and delete them.
Maybe try .3 or .2 and see if that helps.
This does NOT fix the resources never respawning if you leave the area and log out before they have respawned.... only Wildcard can fix that.

WildCard is the maker of ARK.

If you are playing Single Player that command WILL not fix the resources never respawning if you left the area and logged out before the resources have respawned.... only Wildcard can fix that.

How about re-fertilizer? I'll try it and get back to you.

It appears re-fertilizer is ineffective (or non-impactive if you're woke). So then, I wonder if there is a way to get the savedgame.ini (or whatever it's called) to return to original resources.

Just checked and it works if:
  • 1) At first you need to set resource respawn to 0.0
in my case game settings was:
    in steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini in [ServerSettings] ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier=0.000000 in steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Game.ini ResourceNoReplenishRadiusPlayers=0.100000 ResourceNoReplenishRadiusStructures=0.100000
  • 2) Then you need to leave the area, and travel some distance. At least 3 minutes in a straight line on a pteranodon.
In my case i have traveled to nearest mountain with Argentavis.
  • 3) Then you need to get off pteranodon to return on foot.
  • 4) Then fully exit from game with relaunch application.
  • 5) After relaunch and after return to that place all rocks including boulders will be restored like at game start.
  • 6) Then you can set:
    ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier=0.100000

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
