Checking Max difficulty doesn't force dinos to 150 on the island?
Am I doing something wrong? It says right on the box for max difficulty "forces dinos to level 150 reguardless of map". I dino wiped too. Map is the island.

I had OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0 in my settings before but some of the caves and alpha bosses are a little to tough for a single person to take on. So I want to see if max difficulty will bring the difficulty down a notch, while keeping wild level at 150. Highest I see using a mod to search is 120 with max difficulty checked after a dino wipe.

Cave dino levels go x amount above the server wild level cap... there is no seperate difficulty for cave dinos

MasterWaffle, I have that same problem. It seems that for whatever reason, that setting get overruled/turned off as soon as you load the game. Even stranger is the 'allow flyer PVE carry' option. If i run a non-dedicated (to play with a friend on my SP save), it turns off. But it stays on if i play normal SP...

And Daywalker, turning on the SP setting makes the max dino level 35...

Instead of reading my original post where it said "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0" in it, you plugged your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ video no one wanted. Your video does literally nothing to help it just says to use OverrideOfficialDifficulty which I clearly already know how. Make better content instead of plugging crap if you want subs.

Its pretty easy to just raise tamed/character stat multipliers.

Ive never used the "use singleplayer settings".
