Server wont spawn in max 150 wild dinos.

Ive tried increasing the difficulty to 5 and using the command OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5 but none of these have worked. Ive wiped the wild dino population but the dinos that spawn are still low levels. Im playing on a nondedicated server. any help would be appreciated.

What's the interval between dinos level you are getting? 1s, 5s, etc

Im getting intervals of 2s

Then the difficulty is registering as 2.

For 150 max, it will be by 5s.

Are you using the slider or editing the ini file?

im typing 5 into the difficulty slider. When i try getting off the server and back on, it goes back to 1. Ive edited the GameUserSettings.ini and increased Difficulty Offset to 5.0 under Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer. not sure if thats the correct ini file to edit

That's the server folder.

The SP one is something like "no editor"

I edited the Difficulty Offset in Game Usersettings.ini under here:
Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
I restarted the game and although the difficulty slider defaulted at 5.0, when i wiped wild dinos, they were still spawing at the same increment

You need to check the "Maximum Difficulty" box to force 150 (you'll only get 120 max on the Island without it) if using the difficulty slider set to 1.0 (checkbox is further down, scroll to it).

To add, after above, make sure your ini file is read only. Which right click on file and you will see option.
