How to maximize the max level?

I have been watching Mrmeola and other lets plays with mods ... All of those guys have max level of 600 dinos but i am stuck with 150 (i tried to uncheck the max. difficulty but the dinos still stay unter 600) please help

Set Max difficulty to 20. The dino level is 1-30 and gets multiplied by the difficulty which makes it 20-600.

i have it also on max .. but i think i changed that when i had my local server already open... does this mean because i have a map etc already ongoing, that it cannot be changed anymore?

You want to change the in while the server is offline. Sometimes you will want to close the program as well if you add custom ini options. The files are write protected when the game is running. Just reopen the ini and verify it changed.

Don't forget to use the admin code 'Destroywilddinos' once you make the change. None of the dinos will have the new max level cap implemented until the dinos are either wiped, or, die naturally and new ones spawn in
