Real life equivalent to narcoberries
I know no plant does what narcos do but I was wondering if there was a plant that has berries closely resembling narcoberries. This plant should preferably not be poisonous, the intention IS NOT to eat it, Im making a garden out of plants that featured in my library.

Empetrum nigrum or Crowberry as we call them here.
Not a great tasting berry but edible......not poisonous.

Narcoberries are fine to eat, if you also eat stimberries with them.

And if you're getting upset about something that acts as a sedative (Plenty of plantlife have that effect, no on larger animals like us, but still) Than what plant acts as a dehydrator and/or high stimulant?

And not just a sugar pill, Stimberries effectively make everything more energetic.

Is that close enough?

Jaboticaba - Plinia cauliflora

Its not poisonous and it tastes good. You can also find a small plant of it for gardens and stuff.

If just for show- American Pokeweed- it grows wild all over the eastern United States but does have a bit of toxicity to be concerned about.

This looks close. For eating Blackcurrents aren't too far off, but have a different bottom. I always thought the icon was just recoloured blueberries.

Sloe berries, the fruit of the Blackthorn bush look a lot like Narcoberries. They're not nice to eat, but you could use them to make Sloe Gin and that certainly has an effect ;-)

are you going to have a Stego or Trike harvesting them!

You totally need to put large garden trikes and stegos in the garder for the "harvest berries" look to it. Would be hilarious
