Worth Upgrading Oxygen?

Title. Waiting for a wyvern to grow (just so you know lol). Wondering if upgrading my characters oxygen has any use for deep sea diving or if just bulk stacking in O2 tanks when I get to the level will be more bang for my buck.

Oxygen tanks can break. A little more oxygen can help. And you swim a bit faster, this was nerfed long ago.

So more oxygen make you swim faster? Lol then what about movement speed?

Much better making scuba tanks. Primitive ones are really cheap for the amount of use you get out of each one. Skilling oxygen is a waste of levels imo since scuba is so very easy to make, unless you play primitive or primitive+(Never played + properly, so there might be a more primitive version). If you're too low level to craft the scuba then it might be worth levelling too, then use a mindwipe as you level up, but you shouldn't really need to go into the sea too much for extended periods of time before you reach the level needed for it. Playing primitive, I got by just fine with the standard oxygen and sometimes lazarus chowder just using Basilosaurus and Icthys to dive with.

Sure but I have multiply so that oxygen goes up (if I ever dicide to level it up) by like 100 per level, because 20 oxygen just seems to be a waste. But still would it be better to wait to level 80 (or what ever the lvl)?

In that case then maybe, yeah, since you can use mindwipe later on anyway. But bear in mind you can make lazarus chowder at any level pretty much, which will greatly reduce oxygen consumption too. Personally I've never felt the need to raise oxygen at all, although I do play on official.

If you can adjust your settings, you can reverse the swim speed oxygen nerf.

Upgrade your Oxygen to around 200-400 if you interact with the Ocean a lot, such as riding on underwater tames or grabbing silica pearls. If you ride a Basilisk often, Oxygen may be important too, and Oxygen generally helps your survivability in Aberration by negating dizzy spores to an extent. However the need to level Oxygen becomes quickly useless if you have aquired a Scuba Tank or a Diplocaulus, for both will provide you enough Oyxgen that will last for a very, very, VERY long time. My Diplocaulus can provide me enough Oxygen for a sheer 40 minutes underwater.

Thanks for the advice! I think i'm gonna wait till scubba. Btw does scuba help with aberration's giant snake?
