How to Remove Leech as Solo player?

Standing on camp fire doesnt work. Only dying does, which is dumb as hell. Any other way for a solo player to remove these suckers?

Standing on a campfire works for me when the leech attaches to my character. However I recently had a leech attach to a dino i was riding and it acted as if the leech was stuck to me and not the dino. Even death wouldn't remove it from my screen and I couldn't figure out how the heck to remove it.

I used the orbital camera to check my character and there was no leech on him but it was on my screen. I decided to check the dino I was riding and got the option to remove the leech and once i did that, it dropped off my screen. Very weird bug and ive only had it happen once. So, if you were on a dino when you got the leech then I'd recommend checking the dino.

I tried everything, I even died 3x, its plastered on middle of my screen. Dunno if the server is broken or my game, but I said screw it and raged off for the night, cant farm or fight with a face hugger in middle of my screen.

And yeah my dino had it, I got a 3 leech buff, I sat there for 10 minutes it didnt remove after burning and hilding e to remove.

That sounds like exactly what happened to me. Haha Sorry man, it's a stupid bug for sure. You removed the leeches from the dino and it didn't take it off your screen?

Edit: Wait, are you saying that you couldn't remove it from the dino either?

Nope, I removed it like 30 times in a row, but it wouldnt remove the debuff or the leech, gonna try logging in to see if gone

Damn that sucks! Mine dropped from my screen once I removed it from the dino. Hopefully it was just a graphical glitch and it will be gone when you log back in.

this happens always so i think devs use that to tell us "your dino has leech" which is damn stupid...there must be better way

If a tamed dino nearby gets leeched, it often shows up in your screen. Check on your tames, you should find one of them comes up saying 'remove leech' instead of ride.

It's an obnoxious glitch, but informative.

Yesterday I tried campfire, cooking pot, death... nothing helps. I was so angry. I exited the game and the next day leech was away from screen. Yes my dino had leech. Stupid bug.

This Tips work at 100 % :

- The leech is ON you : jump in a campfire.

- you see the leech on a middle on the screen : the leech is NOT on you, it s on one Dino close : found the dino, remove the leech on him.

- you have remove 30x times leech on your dino, and still "push to remove leech" ? Take your dino, and JUMP with him on campfire again.

just for you to know, in case you have a bugged dino or character, you can always unpoad it in a obelisk and redownload it. it will reset any status/effect.
