It doesnt remove the dino from the game, just saves his name, stats and colours in a textfile

I'd like to know if there's a way to use this data for other stuff and whether a custom Dino could be made this way, but yeah... it's ark vr park related. The files are saved as *.ini in Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\DinoExports\

This data can be used with Ark Smart breeding app. Its an alternative to normal way to pull dino data into the program.

It extracts the dinos stats. Are there any linux players on here that know where the file is located on linux when you extract the stats?

You tell it where to export them in Ark Smart Breeder. What I mean is - you don't tell ASB where it is. You use ASB to tell Ark where to put them.

Once you do that, just export the dino. Then, Alt+TAB and import in ASB. It will come up with a list of which dinos you want to import.

Any Linux players out there?

On linux it's ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ARK/ShooterGame/Saved/DinoExports/
