Ark Birthday Suit Skins Censorship?

So, I know the dev's probably won't ever add nudity, which kind of sucks cause it just adds to the survival aspect of the game where you literally start off naked and stranded. The birthday suit skins kind of bother me though. I know its a gag, but I feel like its either poking fun at other survival games that actually incorporate nudity into their games such as Rust or Conan, but if they're going to make a gag skin like that why don't we have the option to uncensor it or at least lower the censorship on it?

I don't care much for the nudity in-game, and even played Ark before they had the skins and thought it was fine. But since they've added the skins a while back and now that my friend and I both have the skins for console (my pc can no longer run Ark), every time he runs past me its either a heavy ball of censorship or a bright light zipping past my screen.

Would there ever be a chance they can either fix that light and lower the censorship, or make an option to uncensor it overall? Again, I don't care for the nudity, but having crippling balls of censorship zip past my screen is quite annoying.

Also, we're both over the age of 18. So its not like we're kids trying to see noods, just a few adults trying to enjoy a game to its fullest.

It's almost funny how people think others haven't figured out the internet yet.
There are so many ways to get stuff way more intense than nudity in any given game that much more easily, but somehow everybody that thinks spawning completely nude (instead of wearing something that looks like almost modern underwear) in a survival game adds to the immersion only wants it for dem nude pixels.
Well, many people don't seem to understand the concept of RPing in a game like this anyway, so it really doen't matter to them.

Nobody here cares for the junk.

The problem is the bubble of pixelation around the rest of the model that can get really distracting. Seriously, has anybody here bothered to look at this thing and see how intrusive this thing is.

But that's beside the point, OP is not sad that there are not enough wangs and tooties to see in the game, but that this hypocritical, quasi-prudish dictation of the laws of the greatest porn producer in the world messing up with the game experience. I'm sure he would be also okay, if the "birthday suit" would be instead of glaring, blurred pixels some mickey mouse kids clothes that we used to wear when we were celebrating our 5th or 6th birthday. Anything but that stupid, ignorant, useless, hypocritical censoring.

But, as it was pointed out as well - the steam forums here are really not the place for his problem, since he's playing on PS4.

Did you miss the part where I said they were blinding bright lights instead of pixelated genitals? Probably, since you went to the pixelated junk thing ruining my gameplay insteast of acknowledging the rest of the information.

I'm playing on Xbox One, if I had a PS4 I'd probably be more focused on Bloodborne to be more honest. The lack of nudity isn't my issue, its the over censoring or broken mechanic of censoring causing a blinding bright light to shine off of the characters bodies when wearing the skin that is truly bothering me.

There is no bright blinding light. IT's just pixelated. Something is wrong on your end if it's literally a light and not a bunch of pixels

There is no bright blinding light. IT's just pixelated. Something is wrong on your end if it's literally a light and not a bunch of pixels

Its not just me, my tribemates see a brigth blinding light if its not a grotesque ball of pixels. So if its on my end, then its on the end of console users. Not just me personally.

About the blinding light... on the steam version there are options to turn off "lightshafts" and "bloom". Both help ALOT to avoid lensflares and blinding all over the place (with these options on, I'd go crazy in a metal base). Maybe these options are also on your console and they maybe help tuning down that blind effect on the japanese p*rn suits.

Everyone keeps assuming I'm just going on about this for nudity but I was told that they're like the ken and barbie dolls. Literally no genitals to even be shown. But anyway, I'll check on console to see if there are options for those. I've checked the options here and there with no luck but the recent update for console to turn down the bloom in the Radiation Zone on Aberration so we can actually see the land around the element pool helped with at least that area. My tribemate has still be a bright light or massive ball of censorship. So, I'll go ahead and check the settings.
