how do air conditioners work?
i have a 1x1 room with a trapdoor and 2 ac units with a space in the middle and if i put a raptor egg or argy egg it says too hot or cold but the averge temp outside is around 22 to 35 degrees celsius why is it still saying to hot

As a rule of thumb ... 6 aircons will do any egg type ... basically... you need another aircon

You need more airconditioners. They have a set value they adjust the temperature for, each. 6 AC is enough for just about any egg. Less of them and covering a wider area if you're using S+ ACs.

As well if you use S+'s incubator it also does the work for that til the 1% mark.

Alternatively other mods like CFK have stable bedding that hatches with no electricity needed unlike other incubators of other mods.

Think on AC units with an invisible circle radiating out from them. Farther from the circle, the less temperature balancing it does numerically. Thus for eggs, you have to stack airconditioners together in a short space around an egg's spot so that it helps to ensure their circles overlap and stack benefits in the highest concentration possible.
