Validation Loop ARK : Survival Evolved

Alright so after the update today , I couldnt't join the server I was playing on, so I wanted to reinstall ARK to fix it.

Fortunetly it's sent me into a downwards spiral into insanity since now the game is stuck in a validation loop that I can't get it out of.
I've tried validating other games to maybe break it loose ( the other game was fine , but ARK got stuck again ).
I've tried uninstalling it again but it just gets stuck on [ uninstalling ARK ] .
Restarting my PC several times and reinstalling steam itsself has not fixed the problem.

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

Tried deleting the Ark folder from steamapps/common .... then verifying it in steam?

Note: this will remove any singleplayer saves

it won't let me delete the folder .. steam closed and everything.

did this problem get solved as im having a similar issue, i have'nt been on for months and now keeps taking a few hours to download and validate about 4.5gb and then steam just closes and when i load steam back up it just starts over again

hey,close steam go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading delete the files in there, make your way here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\shadercache\346110 and only delete the "346110" folder and lastly go here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\downloads and delete the files in there (make sure to emty the recycleing bin aswell) after you do this validate the game files/ or reinstall the game and you should be good to go :)

Happening for years I guess and not a single thing I find has a solution. Someone said it has to do with the game file's compression, and not steam.
Not a surprise that the amateur dev team at Wildcard ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up again, and ignore the problem.

in some other thread, the appache file was deleted and the problem was solved.

I just got up and seen this, so not sure if spelling is correct, or where to find the file. But it worked for me the last time it happened.

un-check and check cloud sync on steam settings and game options.
clear download cache and reboot pc

This worked for me go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading and manually drag files and folders out, than put them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK, do not copy just cut and past, and be carfull put them in the right spots good luck took me a few mins <3 :)
