As Admin can I extend decay and claim timers for a player?

I have a player who has to go on a two month deployment with his unit ... is there are way for me to extend his decay timers and his dino claim timers?

I don't want to be screwing with those timers for the entire server ... but certainly, there's something Wildcard has built in for guys in the military that have to go to sea and go on deployments now and then. ????

What i would do in that case is reset ur tribe governing and merge him in. This way whrn he gets back he can leave ur tribe and still keep his stuff.

as far as i am aware settings regarding decay timers are server wide. there is no "claim timer" anymore that i am know of, abandoned dinos poof when rendered if their timer is up.

Nope, unfortunately you can't extend timers for just his tribe. Only for the whole server. If they implemented something just for deployment, someone else would just abuse it for another reason.

What I would suggest though, if you want to help him not lose his stuff, just force join his tribe before things decay. Only takes a few seconds, and it'll reset his timers for him without him having to log on. Just make sure he has a tribe, and you have more than one person in your own tribe, as to not lose your own stuff. If you are alone in your tribe, this method will not work.

Bring one of your tribe dinos with you, go to his base, and use the command "cheat forceplayertojointargettribe 0" while facing one of his structures. It'll put you into his tribe, and all the timers of his base will reset to their highest. Afterwards, just use the same command on the dino you brought with you from your tribe, and it will put you back into your own tribe c:

Yeah. Just admin yourself into the tribe to reset timers.

just becareful using the force join method, as if your animals are owned specifically by you (has your name tag on it "owned by: (yournamehere)") then your animals will join his tribe, and you'll have to use "cheat givetome" to get them back in your ownership

I am talking about tribe governance. If the op sets his tribe governance the right way it can work.

This is only if you have auto destruct for dinos turned on. Its not on by default on unofficial.

Hmmm, that's really disappointing. It would just be a matter of making it an Admin only command, and the command would just access the same routine the game calls when a player logs in.
