Giga bug/getallstate not working single player xbox

My GF and I religiously play ark in splitscreen single player and we are currently looking for a giga. We have spent probably 30+ hours flying over spawn points and have only ever found one and it despawned before we could tame it. We are on day 250 and it is the only one we have ever seen. We had the same problem with quetz, but we're finally able to find and tame a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ low level one. We have killed thousands of dinos in the spawn zones with no luck so I'm not sure if the destroy all dinos command will work. Any suggestions?
Also we have been trying to get the getallstate command to work to see if there are even any gigas on our map and we can't seem to figure it out. Can someone please explain how to do this on Xbox? Much appreciated

so when you open the console (not just the one line but where it shows half the screen as a black box) and type cheat getallstate Gigant_Character_BP_C
you get no results?

I read of someone else not finding gigas in single player game.

I have faced this probelm and I noticed there are 2 ways to solve this from what I've seen .

1 . Store your gear in your base and make sure you have a bed to respawn in. Die ... eat dino poop in mass amounts , drownd or jump off a big cliff.

I say this because every death I've had gets things to respawn to also include resources that seemly stopped spawning with no strucutres in the area .

2. Do the command for KIll All Wild Dino's ... I'm not sure if that command is typed differently for Xbox but that's the way to cause random creatures to respawn . It should trigger that command line to take effect.

Single player for PC has the same problem . We start noticing the land and sea stop respawning form the killing we do. Eventually certain creatures you want die off . For example Equus ... Raptors love having them for dinner .

I did some searching and I think it's :

admincheat destroywilddinos

Watch a wild Doodo when you do the command , if it disappears when you hit enter , it worked.

Give the Command a try , you may have to do it a few times to find a Giga . Good Luck

Thank you very much. We killed all dinos and set difficulty to max level, hopefully this will do the trick

Spawns in single-player have always been a bit off. But we've gone from a feast to a famine with gigas.

We used to get this;

Nowadays though it seems that you might get 1 or 2 when you DestroyWildDinos (in SP you don't need to put 'admincheat' or 'cheat' in front of a console command).

Im seeing 15-20 packs of Yuty with 4 carnos. Never see giga...

Keep tring , you'll find one . I've noticed when you do a reset Gigas are almost the last Dino's to spawn . I know it's frustrating , But it's far better you find them then they find you .
