Harvesting damage means say if you hit a tree 10 times the tree falls but if you slide it to the top it takes 1 hit to chop down a tree(but only for players)
In your gameuser.ini its called harvesthealth.
Health affects all harvest nodes. Higher = more hits to harvest.
Harvest Damage is further split into Character and Dino. Higher damage = fewer hits to harvest.
By modifying all three of these you can adjust the value of using harvesting Dinos Vs doing it by hand.

Edit: If the .in is read only then it should override. If not I believe the slider does.
...and if you don't make it read only, the slider overrides?
