S+ hitching post

I'm confused about the hitching post. I've looked and it says you can hitch 2 dinos to one post to make it easier to mate them.

I have a lot of trouble hitching dinos to the post tho. The first one hitches fine no problem, but the 2nd dino doesn't give me the option.

I've gotten it to work a few times eventually after tinkering, but there has to be a easier way, or are there certain dinos you can't put 2 on one post?

If anyone has anymore info it would be appreciated

I've gotten that before. I've also been able to hitch two Ravagers to a hitching post that was miles away. :)

When I can't hitch something, I pick the hitching post up and place it again. That usually fixes it.

This is a mod item you might have better luck posting the question in the mod's discussion. I myself use this mod and have had no problems other than the occasional can't hitch anything but I move them away and back and they hitch just fine

It's a generally good rule of thumb to pick up and replace items (where possible) from mods when they glitch or bug out I think.

So first... you can hitch infinite dinos to 1 hitching post...there is no limit.

For your "i can't hitch the second dino"-problem. Remove the hitching post and place it again, then you will be able to hitch both.

There is no need to put hitching post again and again. Just dont put them close to each other. Hitching option is not showing if there are 2 diferent in range. I had the same problem... now I have all dinos on separated hitching posts which are ~5 foundations away
