Large bear trap bugged??

Hy everybody,

I am playing on a own server with just me and my hubbie and with a lot of pain and effort we made Some large bear traps to trap a ankylosaurus.

How ever were, when or however we want to place the trap it keeps closing up, like it sprung but it didn’t.
We can stil pick it up and try again but keeps happening.

Even though there is no dino
We tried everything
Placing it under a walking dino - same
Placing it on different undergrounds(sand, grass etc) - same
Placing it way way ahead of dino -same

Anybody know what we are doing wrong or is it just bugged?

There was a change to the traps that makes them take time to activate, I personally haven’t used them since but I believe they will place in a closed look and slowly open over the time until ready I think this is around 10 seconds,

More like 12-14s. Just let it time to activate...
