Wild Creatures not spawning in
It has been 3 ark days and nights now that there has been nothing that has spawned across from herbivore island. Is there something wrong with the game or do things take a while to spawn

Did you block all the spawns with structures?
Bluelightning3 Apr 23, 2019 @ 12:00pm

Not player spawn points. As you build in an area, it prevents dino respawn. And resources too.

If its single player that can happen you might need to go to the area then leave it for about 5 mins and then go back to it. It has to due with hibernation.

I do leave the area constantly and still nothing spawns
It is singleplayer. Yeah i realize the stone and metal pockets i had on herbie island are now not spawning in even though im building on the farthest part of that island

Bluelightning3 Apr 23, 2019 @ 12:28pm

KitsuneShiro Apr 23, 2019 @ 12:30pm
Tab to get command line
DestroyWildDinos
Bluelightning3 Apr 23, 2019 @ 12:31pm
Then leave the area?

You are going to have nothing but problems playing single player. I would recommend getting Ark Server Manager and running a local dedicated server to play on. For just you and a few friends, your PC is likely strong enough to run the server and play on it at the same time. Single player is just buggy. From missing resources to caves not respawning to wonky tether mechanics, it is just not worth the hassle.

Completely agree.

ASM is so much easier and runs more efficiently on system resources.

Then you are the sole exception in the entire population of Ark players. Because even dedicated has bugs in it and if you have never experienced a bug, then you must have the one copy of Ark where the devs decided to fix everything...or you are lying.

He only has 300 hours. He is still an Ark noob. Less lying and just naive.

Just because someone hasn't had any issues or bugs doesn't mean they are lying, I literally went over 4k hrs before seeing any type of bug and that was my own fault, running the game in directX instead of 11. And nearly all of that was in sp.
