Tek Teleporter, no interaction

Hi guys,
I'm messing around on SP at the moment and was just spawning in Tek gear for fun. I want to get my 2 teleporters to work. They are on Abberation, both have a Tek generator powering them. But I CANNOT interact with the teleporter other than the console that only says to enable public or destroy...

I put stuff onto the teleporter and have no option to teleport or deposit the shards into the teleporter. Any idea why I cannot interact with the teleporter(s) themselves or see the cost and make it work?

Ah....I just saw on ArkWiki that the teleporter isn't for Aberration...that may well be it lol.

most tek stuff won't let you use it if you havent unlocked it(via fighting a boss) but if you go into GCM you can use it or use the admin command to unlock all engrams..i cant remember what it is.
