Narcotics AND Narcoberries
Hello people !
Has anyone ever tested the thing I'm gonna say ?

Imagine that I'm taming a high level dino, so I need narco to keep it sleeping.

If I'm right, 5 narcoberries would give 7.5 * 5 torpor VS narcotic will give 8 * 5 (correct or confirm me please).

If I'm right again, I should better use narcoberries because torpor will come slower than with narcotics.

SO, my question is : can I use both narcoberries and narcotics as long as I hope that it will put torpor as fast as narcoberries, and as much as narcotics (8 *) ??

I really don't think that, for example, by forcing to eat 100 narcoberries then 20 narcotics, it will get 7.5 * 100 slow then 40 * 20 faster (but slower too).

Thanks !

torpor always stack, no matter if was narcoberrys, narcotics, bio toxin, mushroom or if you punch the dino
when reach the max torpor it starts going down again(each dino have a different speed)

but there are some things to know
per example if you are trying to tame a giga, you need to use narcotics bc narcoberrys can spoil, and with narcoberrys you need to click a loot of times in the inventary
https://www.dododex.com/taming/giganotosaurus
in gigas, gallimimus, dimetrodons... per example the torpor can fall more fast than loots of dinos

also like recomendation you need a backup of narcotics bc there are a loot of pegos and birds stealing and eating your narcotics if you are distracted

with the dododex APP you don't need to care about nothing, just sometimes you need a bit more of narcotics or shoots, bc the mats are based on the perfect timers and no in real human timers of the lag in the server, ping or fake hitboxs

You do not need to click a bunch of times with consuming anything in this came. You can just put your mouse cursor over a stack of narco berries then press and hold the E key. You can down a whole stack of narco berries is seconds with just one key press.

Personally, I use narcotics only to make darts. I use the berries for all tames because you can collect them off of nearby bushes in a pinch and there is no crafting involved so they are easy to keep. Yeah, they decay but the decay times are not terrible, like veggies or prime meat. In the end, it will come down to personal preference and whether you want to carry around a few stacks of berries or a few stacks of narcotics. A big part of that will come down to how much narcotics can you manufacture and will you have enough spoiled meat.

Thanks, but... I already know all of this x) my question must be not enough explained. Here it is :

If I'm using 1000 narcoberries, then 200 narcotics, will torpor increase at the same speed while all the time, or will it get slower / faster once reached half of the torpor supposed to be increased ?

Remember, 5 narcoberries let the torpor increase slower than with 1 narcotic... meaning that while taming, for example, gigano, you will prevent torpor from decreasing during more time than with narcoberries than with narcotics.

The only way to know this is to test it, I dont use narco berries cause I noticed it actually feeds the dinosaur making the taming process longer. Maybe its only for dinos who eat berries but after I noticed that knocked out dinos food was going up from narco berries I switch to always using narcotic only.

EDIT: I did a small test where I used a few narco berries and a few narcotics. It seems like after using a narcotic the torpor bar started to increase faster, either the torpor stacks with the berry torpor, or the narcotic overrode the berrie torpor. no way to tell. when I switched back to narco berries after giving the dino narcotic, the torpor was still increasing at the same speed at no indication of it slowing down. Im assuming it torpor stacks from what I saw cause it went from slow, to fast. then after the torpor wore off the bar declined as normal. so giving it 5 narcotic berries after giving him 1 narcotic will not slow it down from what i see.
