Just copy the entire ark folder to your new computer.
Alternatively if you don't want to copy the FULL folder to the new PC.
Your saved games, achievements, hair styles, SP maps etc. are all saved here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved
Create a symbolic link at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved
And redirect that into your Dropbox location. Something like:
C:\Users\<username>\Dropbox\GameSaves\Ark
Symbolic links in Windows 10 are called folder junctions and can be created in cmd prompt.
Copy the folder away before doing this.
After this is done you should be able to copy the contents of the old "Saved" folder that you backed up earlier into either the source or destination folders. Effectively they are the same thing now. Just keep that in mind when you delete them.
If you sync multiple computers using Ark, and then try to play using a different steam account on each PC. Its likely both instances of Ark will try to save at the same time and the results of which may ♥♥♥♥ things up.
The reason being is that Ark keeps the save files for the PC it is on. It is not separated based on steam accounts at ALL.
So this is really only possible for single users wanting to play or transfer files on multiple PC's. Not concurrently though.
