Methods for Suppressing or Killing Super Turkeys
Share yours in the comment section below. I will start.

- Raptors can pin down Super Turkeys, which makes their damage more manageable. The raptor won't be able to kill it alone, however. Have someone on a Utahraptor (the game's normal raptor) pin down the turkey, then rush in with stronger dinosaurs to help bring the turkey's health down. Utahraptors are fairly easy to tame so this method takes a while and is relatively cheap.

- You can try and bleed it out with a Deinonychus, but this is a slow process. For bleed damage, it is best to use an Allosaurus.

- Super Turkeys cannot damage stone structures, so trapping it or standing on a high-rise stone structure should help you kill it.

- You can lure it into the water and chomp at it with a Dunkleosteus, which will do full damage to the turkey. However, Super Turkeys are fast in water. You could also try this with a Tusoteuthis (needs testing) but the turkey will not drown.

- Keep in mind that attacking a Super Turkey will aggro anything near it, causing those creatures to either flee or attack you. Most of the time these additional creatures aren't a very big deal, but be careful you don't get Therizinos after you.

They have 90% damage reduction from all tamed dinos except
dunky, giga and managmar, wyreen breath weapons and Allo, velonasaur bite.

Yeah, that's why you use things that ignore armor and go straight for hp, like Allo bleed. Raptors can help in suppressing them for a few seconds so you can apply the bleed or do more things.

Therizino, C attack (the ground peck to harvest berries) does full damage to the turkeys.

Enjoy.

You can think of the turkeys like you were trying to damage a stone structure. Anything that can damage a stone structure likely does full damage to the turkey.

pump shotgun with point blank range shots, puts turkeys down really fast. I've been using that on foot, or Gigas. Gigas are easier, but shotguns on foot are a lot more fun. And of course, only fight them away from your base, unless it is all properly walled off with stone. Kill anything dangerous nearby before engaging the turkey

Pretty good method imo. This will help basically everyone on the discussions kill the super turkeys, as i've seen they've pissed a few people off.

Also realize that the turkeys are small and sometimes they are not noticed, just chilling out obscured by bushes, so you might intend to fight one but end up fighting as many as 3 or 4. Happens a lot to me in Sanctuary in Extinction.

Saw a tribe mate almost lose his Rex today due to hiding Turkeys.

6 jumped him from no where, and too low stamina to run away. He was lucky to get his Rex on a rock and had to wait it out, (the turkeys could not get to him)

Its a sad day when you see a very bloody Rex hiding on a rock from 6 turkeys!

We had to come to save his ass with shotguns and blow them away. He will never live it down

LMAO at the idea of Turkeys "treeing" a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Epic

A pack of 6 turkeys. I think they need to be renamed to Thanksgiving land-sharks
Now we need some good youtube editing of Jaws music playing before and during a turkey attack.

It's also pretty ironic that the raptor, usually your first carnivorous mount, has a better matchup against the turkey than the rex, but that goes for most small things. the raptor is very support oriented when it comes to that.

If you're only using one deinonychus, you're using it wrong

I've only used a single deinonychus in the past for most things and it worked quite well. We must play different servers

Each one can stack a 1% bleed up to five times. Add the pack bonus plus the alpha buff bonus and three to five will melt through anything with high hp in no time. Like a turkey with 18k hp

Ah, you have a good point. The reason I have only ever used one is because the AI of this game is, quite honestly, bad. Besides that, I am usually solo as well.
