Each tier of kibble from works much worse on the tier above it but better then Mutton (for carnivores) on the tier below..... but the preferred kibble always works best.

Sorry, but no. Anything higher than the preferred works exactly the same as the preferred. This is per the wiki and also my experience.

Aha, you are correct... at first all i could find was this-

"Kibble that tames the Creature with the greatest taming efficiency and effectiveness. However, using a Kibble that is not preferred by the Creature is even worse than taming with Raw Meat or Berries."


Had to dig a bit harder to find this-

"Creatures prefer at least one specific class of kibble, but accept also kibbles of a higher class, e.g. Argentavis.png Argentavis can most effectively be tamed with Superior Kibble.png Superior Kibble and better, but Basic Kibble.png Basic, Simple Kibble.png Simple, and Regular Kibble.png Regular class have worse results than meat."

Augmented Extraordinary Kibble doesn't need any specific DLC ingredients, works for every creature that accepts kibble and tames 50% faster (cuts 1/3 of the time).

It is craftable. I just tested it without mods after your last reply and it still works.

everything was kept the same as when it got released, except for the last tab.

Every creature that accepts Kibble, will also take augmented kibble in its place.

It is craftable. I just tested it without mods after your last reply and it still works.

Interesting. This is what the wiki states: "This Kibble is no longer craftable by any means."

It also states that it was only useful for taming a few of the animals (Bronto, Giga, Karkinos, Mana, Mosa, Quetz, Rex, Spino and Theri), for the rest it was worse than meat or berries. I wonder if that is wrong also?
