how do i get sulfur and cactus sap on valguero?
i know sulfur spawns in the wyvern trench but is there any other place?

Sulfur trench only.

Cactus are in the chalk cliff area

you can tame them with citronal seeds and mushrooms but it takes forever without species z

There are 3 species of plant.

X is the turret plant.
Y is like a beartrap
Z is a plant that gives fruits can heal your dinos, and can be used to tame chargelight pets.
