Yes, it does make it so others cannot visit them. But I am will to give it up on official because the benefit. I will never claim these. But to know someone got to build on one makes me happy.

and you can still claim everywhere except the inside and have exclusive access to that castle (there are actually random spots inside where you can place a single foundation so can even turret the interior) :/ very weird.
wow, many thanks! This makes a massive improvement to building in general, all the places at my base where it didn't make sense that i can't build are all buildable too now and so is the castle as far as i checked so far XD any risks, dos or don'ts with that setting turned on? this seriously improves gameplay, thanks again :)
btw, putting it in Game.ini was sufficient in my case.
That happens regardless of settings.
