Kibble
Maybe I am seeing this wrong but kibble seems so much more tedious and confusing now, as well as a lot less linear. Penny for thoughts

There is only 6 tiers. Or just one if you go for the highest.

So instead of working from dodos to rex, you work from rex to dodo?

They are not by species anymore but grouped into tiers. Basic, simple, etc.

You can use preferred or higher.

No. Check this out: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Kibble#Recipes
Six recipes, that's it. Six types of eggs, that's it. And, as Silky Rough points out below, the kibbles are backwards compatible, so if you want to tame something that wants regular kibble, you could also feed it any of the higher tier kibbles.

More confusing initially but certainly no more tedious than before. I think 6 creatures, with partners, is all that's needed.

In fact (if I have this right) it can be much less effort once you have the production chain in place because higher kibble is also "backwards compatible".
Exactly. Once you have some yutys to breed, you need nothing else because extraordinary kibble will tame anything.

or...even easier, deinos.

Fiber?.... all kibble recipes require 5x fiber and 25% water.
