Deinonychus eggs
So before the update I could incubate the eggs with two camp fires (3 campfires was too much) and hatch babies no problem.
After the update 5 campfires and 2 grills and the egg is still "too cold"? Even have a set up in a warm environment also.
Not sure if anyone else is having this problem or if someone would let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!

Edit: In the jungle area I needed at least 9-12 torches to incubate the egg!

You're not doing anything wrong. The patch notes say they raised the incubation temp... apparently by way too much by the looks of it.

Over adjustment from WC... shocking. :steamfacepalm:

It's because they were hatching in the wild to frequently.

Pfft, I don't even see why that's an issue.

It actually makes getting them tougher, in my opinion. They wander off from the nest, so you have to look around more for them. The way they move and their quickness makes the little ones hard to actually claim while moving around. Heck, that's only a little easier when they've grown up wild. And, yeah, once they are grown in the wild they're even harder to find because there isn't any obvious difference unless you get up on them and they don't attack/can't be damaged... but good luck with that if there's other wild deinos around.

I got my one wild claim because there was literally a whole pack of 5 of them together, so i didn't have to worry about any attacks. XD

Edit: And they still clearly adjusted it way too much if people can't get them to incubate with up to 9 camp fires.

Sorry but, going from hatching a few, then after an update not being able to hatch at all? It's not the world, it's a glitch or/with the update.

Yeah, they definitely screwed up the temperatures. Tried to hatch some in the hidden cave in the white cliffs area with 6 torches, they had the house buff. That's usually plenty for most dinos except wyverns, which take a good 12 or so to get hot enough. Just how hot do these guys like it?:P

Glad I'm not the only one having this issue... set up the S+ Hatchery, nice! All my fertilized eggs incubated. Dodos.... wow look at them hatch. Deinos.... TOO COLD!! Move all over the map, set up fires/torches... TOO COLD.

10-13 fireplaces.

No different from doing vanilla wyverns on SE.

I never played with Wyverns though, nor tried to hatch eggs, so I had no idea.

That's awesome, thank you! I wouldn't assume you'd need that much but yeah.

Was wondering what I was doing wrong. JFC overtuned much?

What i needed to get one incubating... Wish i'd read these posts before i wasted all my resources on 4 air-conditioners. 4 aircon, 4 fires, 3 torches

7 campfires, two standing torches, 20C temperature in the area, the egg is "too cold". Silly featherlizards think they're wyverns.

Lol this still hasn't been fixed?

Who said it's broken? You should try wyverns. Pain in the arse without aircons and even then you needs heaps.

Just can S+. Those aircons have higher insulation than vanilla
