Valguero: Alpha Rex Spawn in Beach Zone 1 Starter Zone
Greetings,

I think this has to be an error and it's somewhat annoying. The spawn zone called Beach Zone 1 is labeled as "Easy" and supposedly is a starter zone, however in aproximately 32 hours, an Alpha Rex has spawned on this beach, which in my mind makes it not an "Easy" starter zone beach.

Either change the spawn place of the Alpha Rex or Change the label from Easy to something else... (and normal Rexes are spawning in significant numbers as well but they are nothing compared to the trouble an Alpha Rex can give on a starter zone)

you did realize you're playing ARK: Survival Evolved ?
there is not easy the first ~20 Levels, prepare to die often.

Survival, yes, but why would not be danger for easy zone reasonable? With your logic is perfectly OK if Reaper Kings spawn on all over the map.

Alphas travel. They fall down to the beaches and easy areas. This happens on all maps.

i'm not saying they traveled there, i'm saying they are spawning there, today a giga is walking around the area (not sure where it spawned so this one hopefully traveled here instead of spawning here)

But this area is labeled as easy, Alpha Rex and Gigas are probably some of the hardest ones to face and they shouldn't be COMMON in Easy labebeled areas....

The easiest (label) Aberration spawn had NO water and basilisk. Not so easy.

For Valguero I don't even see labels on the spawns, just the names.

Yes, I have not seen any labels on the spawn areas saying that they were easy. Just the names as you said.

The easy starting areas on Scorched Earth are usually teaming with raptors or cats. Easy is a relative term in Ark. What it should read, if there were any difficulty labels at all, is "Easier than other areas but still not safe."

If you want "easy" on Valguero start on the small islands. Heck, there isn't even a dodo to attack you there....

I don't think you've played Ark before. When you spawn on the beach you are often attacked and killed within the first 5 seconds.

It is not about my experience (you can check it) it is about what is reasonable or not.

Id rather have an alpha rex make its way to a spawn beach than to have an Alpha raptor there. You can sprint faster than the rex moves and lose it by running through nearby woods or big rock clusters.

If an alpha raptor aggros on you on a spawn beach, you have a second or two to pray to the gods for a better spawn next time.

Alphas can travel pretty far from their original spawn, since 99% of wild dinos cant kill them.

Also, if you are on the beach and the alpha rex has you pinned against the ocean (no good direction to run) get it to follow you out into deep water. All the land alphas are really slow in the water, so when you respawn at the same location, you will be on the beach and the alpha will be out in the water, so you can easily escape inland.

Lol, No. It's not about what is reasonable because it is a video game. It doesn't have to be reasonable. All it needs to do is define parameters to play the game. If you don't like it make your own video game.

Furthermore it is about your and every other players experience because that is what the devs want to provide even if it is classified as an "easy" zone. Thus if you and virtually every other player spawn on the beach and are befell upon by raptors then one can state with demonstrable confidence the experience is difficult yet not unreasonable as defined by the game category (Survival).

Manage your expectations.
