Snapping of SLOPED Wall Pieces
When I build a base there is always trouble with the roof part where walls and roofs come together. If I build the roof up first then I can't fit the sloped wall pieces in anymore because they are always red in the place where and how they should go and when i put the slopes in first my roof pieces go wild and crazy and don't fit in at all anymore.

Pressing Q and / or E doesn't help, I never get the roof in the right angle anymore. Is there a trick, or tool, or mod that helps with the snapping problem like the demo gun or so?

In other games like Heat, Conan Exiles etc we have pretty much the same building system and in Heat for example I can turn off the snapping and go in free build mode, then the slopes fit in there as supposed to, but all that is neither available in ARK, nor does any of those tricks work for me in ARK.

Good advice would be highly appreciated and thanks a lot in advance.

P.S. I am using triangle shaped roofs, because with square it is not possible to get the shape I want.

Quite true I've noticed the same. I just accept a bit of waste and place my walls and ceilings before the sloped parts.

Yes, of course, but when I watch all those wonderful speed build videos of several builders on You Tube it always looks so easy to fill in the slopes and they always build the roof first and then fill the slope it seems. But mine is always red that it can't be placed.......

WC messed up with Homestead (pseudo s+ integration) and never fixed their mistake.

If you are in singleplayer... it helps to have no collision turned on.... not much... but it helps
