Cryopod crashes my game?

So I was storing my max level baryonyx in a cryopod and went to take it out to go tame up a high level megalodon (note that I could perfectly fine uncryo it the other day). My game froze up and crashed, so I tried it multiple times after to see if it would have the same result- it did. I've read other posts about this happening to random cryopods and how they had to throw them out and let them expire and die, but I really don't want to throw her out, as she is my only current water mount.

Is there any way to fix this bug, or am I just going to have to get a new bary? Fyi I threw out one of my cryoed wyverns and he came out perfectly fine, so I'm guessing its just my bary.

Also, is there any way to prevent this bug, or is just random? Because I tend to store a lot of my breeding creatures in cryopods as to prevent lag for both myself and my tribemate. I really don't want to lose my fully mutated creatures if this was to happen to them.

I'm on unofficial with a few mods (S+, a stack mod, and a dino tracker) however I doubt it's related, as i've had these on my server since the start and was able to use cryopods completely normally with them on.

I only ask because for future reference you could use dino storage v2 instead.

Wont fix the bug... but will avoid it.

Ah that's alright. I've been thinking of taming more baryonyx eventually.. Guess I'll just have to go grab one.

Yeah but until I get the mod you were talking about I'm going to be a bit careful of using cryopods, and I don't have room in my base for 2.

Can I ask what map that's on? And the coordinates? That looks like a really good base spot lmao and I might want to use it for one of my other servers.

Also my tribemate tends to do most of the building, but I can discuss with her building a larger base.

What’s even the coords of hidden lake I’ve been around the Island and I have the whole map and never saw anything such as that

For being a Hidden Lake it's actually visible on the map, dead center between Far's Peak, Frozen Fang and Dead Island. Around 22, 68.

Still active bug 4-27-22. Has not been fixed. You can see some clips of it on reddit, everyone lambasted the guy like it was his hardware, it isn't. It's a bug with single player only i think.

The clip i saw has the exact same error that I do. I can put settings to low, makes no difference. Even on max settings my card isn't at like 80% GPU use most of the time.
