Died of heat WTH i drank water ....

I drank water ate, went for a swim, but heat exhaustion . What gives it only 31 oC nobody dies at 31 . anyway to cool OFF. What kind of armour can you put when you die at 31 i'm puzzled here. Any advice thanks for your time.

Are you sure it was from the heat, cuz even without any armor as a fresh spawn that wouldn't cause any level of heat. did you happen to have high tier hide or fur armor on? just one piece of acendant can send you into Hyperthermia if you're not careful

1) You will die a lot in this game. Death is your friend. Think of it as a demonic teleportation device. If you cannot handle death well go play Dark Souls and come back and you will feel this game is easy.

2) Cold and Heat are a very big danger. Pay attention to where you are. The landscape has areas hotter than normal. Pay attention to your clothing and look for higher level cloth or wear ghillie armor to combat heat. Build a base and hide in it until heat gone. Or just die and respon. It's not like death is going to really kill ya.

3) Cold and Heat are a very big part of this game. Pay attention to what kind of pets you can catch that will help you combat extreme temperature changes.

4) Get used to dying. If you do not like to keep death as a friend make two beds. Use the beds as teleporters. Do not keep your most valuable stuff on your body keep it in chests somewhere safe.

If you get frustrated eat more fruit and get some sleep in game and in real life. Welcome to ark. It's like hell but with dinosaurs.

The best you can do early is find a more temperate place like the default spawn isthmus. Then get ghillie armor as soon as you can.

Heat also causes Heat Stroke which doesn't seem to go away like Heat.

Oh ok thanks for the tips guys i noticed we die a lot yes and its ok i just was wondering why heat was a problem . i'll get ghille armor as soon as i can thanks again much appreciated .

just do not use Hide, Chitin, Fur or Flak Armor if it is warm outside.

You can also put a few points into FORTITUDE that will help a bit with temperature variations.

Thanks for the great suggestions, i've also moved to a less hot area and build my first stone house i'm now collecting poop for my plantation.
