Ovis breeding
Is the ovis breeding fixed now? I saw a lot of posts about baby ovis die after birth but those posts are quite old.

The last problem with ovis was the baby fall trow the world and you never see it. One way to avoid that was build a second floor and put your ovis there, if baby fall,it will fall to first floor.

This is what I do. I have a breeding building, but I breed Ovis on the roof. 50% of the time, they end up falling through the ceiling. Otherwise, they are just fine. I even breed them for health mutations, and keep an actual breeding pair.

Good to hear. I just came back on ark after a long break and saw the new kibbles, so I thought breeding ovis would make taming carnivores easyer instead. Hope is not to painfull to breed and raise them for meat lol. Thanks for respons guys

It's not painful at all. They will give you so much meat, you'll never go hungry again.

In case you weren't already aware, transport the live ovis to the tame site. KO the tame, and then kill the ovis. My ovis LOVE going on trips!

My problem is that I don't really play much, and when I have time to play and want to tame a Dino, I find no ovis around, I don't really whant to scout the entire map looking for them. Or maybe is a good idea to just tame them when I find and butcher them when I need? For me is not a problem to transport the ovis to the tame, I use a taming pen raft, bring the creature close to my base, ko and starve it, than I give the meat

Unless you already have, you might want to up your multipliers, so you can get more "play" out of your playtime.
