Harvest Amount setting doesn't affect game?

I haven't played Ark for a while, and I've immediately come across a problem I've never seen before to do with harvest amount.

Essentially, my harvest amount setting seems fixed; for every stone I pick up I get 20, regardless of the harvest amount scale in the ark rules settings.

I've reset the map, restored the settings to default, deleted the DefaultGameUserSettings folder under Config, hell, I've even completely re-installed the game and still the harvest amount is locked at this (annoyingly high) scale.

I also can't seem to find any post pertaining to this issue, so I really don't know where else to go.

If anyone has any ideas, or even has experienced a similar problem (because I can't believe I'm the only one), I'd appreciate all the help.

I think it does. But more to the point, it's not just stone. I'm getting thatch in bulks of 40, berries in bulks of 20. It's exactly as though the Harvest Setting is ramped up, but it isn't. 10, 1, 0.1; it's always the same.

It looks like it. In-game at least. But the harvest rate in-game sure doesn't match up with the harvest rate slider. Like I said, whatever value I put that at, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

Test in multiplayer or something. If it still does it (somehow) you're both op and glitched forever

Op, my guess is that your gameusersettings.ini file is marked as read only and it isn't letting Ark save any changes you made. I recommend you check that and make sure it's not marked as read only. If that still doesn't work try running Ark in administrator mode if you have the permissions.
And for the future, when you want to reinstall something, manually delete everything in its folder, because the uninstall option doesn't actually delete everything.

also check for singleplayer settings, it ups some things as well.

Maunal delete + reinstall did the trick. Back to good ol' 1 stone / pickup. Thank you
