Deinonychus Egg Issues
I play single player, no mods. I removed an egg from a nest and it has yet to spawn another egg. Do the nests not repsawn? The egg was removed around 10 in game days or more. I don't have anything even close to the nest like a base that would cause an issue.

Starting to think it is the single player bug like trees and bushes where if you log out before it spawns back in, too bad for you it won't spawn back in.

I couldn't hatch the darn egg as I never had enough heat. I had my industrial oven, forge, eight stand up torches and ten fires and it was still cold. :(

Thanks!

In my SP game,I set up respawning pretty quick and they do respawn indeed.
As for hatching, why don't you use aircon??

It respawned? My respawn is set to 0.01 so things come back quick. I bet it is the SP bug where if it hasn't respawned and you log out, it never spawns. I will have to go back a few saves and find where it was in the nest.

I also have the structure spawns cranked so that trees and such even spawn inside my base. I will reload an old save, grab the egg and see if it spawns. I am in the White Cliffs across from Beaver Lake. There are two nests right up the hill from the shore.

As for the AC how does that help my egg? It always says it is too cold. Does the AC provide heat? Sorry I just started breeding on Extinction and I used ACs there but it was hot where my base was.

Thanks for the help!!

I loaded some saves and did testing. Found that the eggs will respawn quickly as long as I don't log out. There is a bug though. If I get the egg from the first nest and leave the second egg in the other nest, it won't respawn. I then go and get the egg from the other nest and when I come back, the first nest is gone and the second nest has respawned.

If I get both eggs around the same time then both nests will respawn. So I have two bugs going on here. The usual SP "don't log out till everything has respawned" bug and some weird bug with grabbing one egg from a nest that is close to another nest.

Welp at least I know what is going on. Not sure why but I can work around it. :)

Pic of the two nests and location in question:

The nest on the left is the one that if you remove the egg and leave the one on the right, it will not respawn. You then remove the egg from the nest on the right and the nest on the left will disappear.

Aircons do not cool things down.... they control the ambient temperature.

6 aircons is enough to hatch any creature in Ark.

Thanks! I was unaware of this information! Just figured an AC was, well an AC, LOL! Making some electronics and such now for my breeding hut.

Appreciate the help!
